“This show needed a match to lift the crowd straight away, considering it’s in the morning and lots of fans will still be fairly tired. But this was the perfect match to kick things off, the atmosphere was quiet to start with but the crowd got into it and enjoyed themselves with creative chants. That’s a testament to how good Ricky Saints and Ethan Page’s performances were in this match. Ricky gave us a full display of how great his selling is, doing the little things so well making it feel like a struggle to get through the match. Ethan Page once again proved why he’s one of the most underrated heels in wrestling right now with some sublime and smart heel work. Ricky came out on top which was the right decision, this rivalry should continue though.” – Archie Carter
“While it was no surprise that Ricky Starks was going to retain. This is a fun opening match, nothing over the top amazing bout it. Ricky Starks spends time selling his rib area after taking a powerslam on the apron and diving onto an open announce table. There isn’t too much of a story to dig into. The crowd are chanting for both men throughout the match along with the Tony fumbled chants. ” – Coby Galenzoski

MUST WATCH Fraxiom Vs Hank and Tank – NXT Tag Team Championship:

“Without a doubt, Fraxiom are the best tag team in the world. It’s not even close either, we talk about someone like Will Ospreay who can have a great match with pretty much anyone and Fraxiom are the tag team version of that. They are the biggest cheat code possible when it comes to tag team wrestling. Hank and Tank completely took me by surprise as well, Hank took some nasty spots and Tank showed out with his freak athleticism as well. The story made sense for Fraxiom to lose the titles, they should probably be moved up to the main roster now.” – Archie Carter
“It definitely wasn’t the prettiest match, but to say the crowd were not on the edge of their seats by the end of it would be wrong. This match was Hank and Tank’s first real test and Fraxiom deserves all the credit for giving them the spotlight, and helping them show out in the best way possible. With brilliant near falls that get you invested, that surprise you in the moment. The match builds to the eventual Honk Honk which the crowd is so loud for. I like the tandem finisher that puts away Fraxiom. Great sequences that overall increase drama and this is one of the better matches on the show.” – Coby Galenzoski
Results: Hank and Tank by Pinfall via Headbutt and Powerslam Combo on Frazer

AMAZING Sol Ruca Vs Zaria Vs Izzi Dame Vs Thea Hail Vs Lola Vice Vs Kelani Jordan – Women’s North American Ladder Match:

Atmosphere: 0.75
Storytelling: 0.75

“This ladder match did a great job of putting a great spotlight on every competitor. What I love about this match is we got a great mix of styles with the competitors involved. Lola Vice with her mixed martial arts style, Kelani Jordan and Sol Ruca with the high flying aspect of the match and Zaria playing the powerhouse role incredibly well. Thea Hail made her return to PLE action and she looked like she didn’t lose a step, while Izzi Dame also impressed. There were some great storytelling moments, with Lola using her strengths to her advantage constantly. Sol and Zaria’s dynamic played a big part in the match. While they’ve potentially set up an interesting feud between Thea and Izzi as well. Ruca was the right person to win the match, she’s gonna be a great champion I’m sure.” – Archie Carter
“Personally I do feel this was better in comparison to the inaugural ladder match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. The match does its job in giving everyone the chance to shine with great spots. Sol doing her Sol Snatcher off of the ladder is so cool. With a fun focus on Zaria and Sol’s relationship, they get a great standoff on top of the ladder. Sol was the right choice here she is just so good.” – Coby Galenzoski
Results: Sol Ruca by Championship Retrieval

AMAZING Dark State Vs The Family with Adrianna Rizzo:
Fundamentals: 0.75
Atmosphere: 0.75

“This match wasn’t too crazy. But it was fun to watch, as is always the case with The D’Angelo Family. The heel turn by Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo was done extremely well, and the best part is that it didn’t happen randomly and it was built very well. This win for DarkState also keeps their winning streak alive, and keeps them looking strong. I do have worries about how the D’Angelo storyline is gonna play out, but the match was a great start towards it.” – Archie Carter
“The match with Dark State and Tony’s Family really does will with telling an interesting story well. Dark State has the man advantage with Rizzo being a woman and ringside. Dark State controls the pacing of the match and overall does well as heels. Taking their cheap shots when they need to. DS has great offense and chose the right finisher to use in this match. Just when you think the Family is about to gain control, with Tony refusing to use the crowbar, Stacks turns on The Don. A great way to start their story while fitting the story with Dark State. ” – Coby Galenzoski
Results: Dark State by Pinfall via Launching Powerbomb On Tony

MUST WATCH Stephanie Vaquer Vs Giulia Vs Jaida Parker Vs Jordynne Grace – NXT Women’s Championship: NXT Stand and Deliver 2025 Semi Main Event
Fundamentals: 0.75
Atmosphere: 0.75
Storytelling: 1

“When this match was first announced, I had doubts about it. But I don’t know why I did, because you’ve got Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace and Giulia who are three of the best women’s wrestlers in the world. While Jaida Parker is one of the best overall women’s wrestlers in NXT. There were some fantastic individual moments here, Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia had multiple one on one moments and showed why if they have a PLE match against each other it could be a MOTY contender. Jordynne Grace showcased her outstanding strength and she was made to look powerful and extremely cool. Jaida had a breakout performance honestly, probably her best match in NXT.
Stephanie is extremely popular to the point that it should be time soon to call her up to the main roster. She is the next big star in the women’s division that WWE has been looking for. But she won this match with a smart finish.” – Archie Carter
“As a whole this match was really really solid. From bell to bell all women in this match get their moments. From Jaida Parker trapping all three between the ropes for her slam. There is very enjoyable pacing through this match, with moments where everyone was down and it wasn’t too short or long. Jaida’s best performance in any match. Grace gets her powerhouse spots. Giulia gets great moments but the most over star gets the win and retains over the three. ” – Coby Galenzoski
Results: Stephanie Vauqer by Pinfall via Package Neckbreaker
Coby Galenzoski and Archie Carter WR Star Rating – 4.50 Stars
PERFECT Oba Femi Vs Je’Von Evans Vs Trick Williams – NXT Championship: NXT Stand and Deliver 2025 Main Event
Archie Carter’s Quote:
“A story and main event that had so many layers to it. This was absolutely exceptional. Going into the match, we had three different and unique stories. Oba Femi wanted to continue his dominance as NXT Champion, Trick Williams wanted to get back what he felt he got stolen from him, while Je’Von Evans played the underdog role to perfection as he looked to make history. Trick Williams once again rose to the occasion, people have had their criticisms over him but he always steps up when he’s needed to. We’ve seen him have classics in NXT in the past, this was no different. Oba Femi was an absolute monster in this match, undeniable strength and determination that carried him through this match to get the win. The one spot where the referee actually kicked Oba in the face was fantastic and added a humorous element to the contest. Then we get to Je’Von and I can’t say enough great things about this guy, he keeps on successfully amazing me with the audacious moves he pulls out in his matches.
He always makes sure to leave the fans in attendance in awe, he always makes sure to create moments that will last in fans’ memories forever. Oba got the win as he continues to rule over NXT, but all three men should be extremely proud of this historic main event they put on.” – Archie Carter
Coby Galenzoski’s Quote:
“From start to finish this is electric. Oba Femi is the king of triple threat matches and this establishes it. This match gave us edge of our seat action and it did not fail to deliver. The crowd loves every single man in this match and it shows in a great fashion. Normally the ref bumps where they are pulled out of the ring just stop there, but having the ref be held from going back into the ring was a great touch. Oba Femi got the win after a true banger for different reasons compared to Wrestlemania’s.” – Coby Galenzoski
Results: Oba Femi by Pinfall via Powerbomb on Evans
Coby Galenzoski and Archie Carter WR Star Rating – 5.00 Stars
