We have a new WWE Champion on Monday Night Raw and his name is Big E.
Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on the September 13th edition of Raw after Bobby Lashley injured his knee attacking Randy Orton and Riddle.
Big E would defeat Lashley with a Big Ending, taking advantage of Lashley’s injured knee and exhaustion from his title defense against Orton.
After winning the title, Big E’s former tag team partners, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods came out to celebrate with Big E as fireworks went off in the TD Garden.
This marks Big E’s first world championship in WWE and ends Lashley’s reign at 196 days.
