Myron Reed, Former MLW Middleweight Champion has decided to sit down with our very own Eric Novak on the All Real Wrestling Podcast to talk about his time in MLW As champion as well as how he got his start and what his future Goals Are.

Eric began the conversation talking about small beginnings and how he came up into the world of wrestling in which Reed Responded.

“I’ve always been a big fan of wrestling since I was younger my great grandmother got me into wrestling and she was a big Rock fan and I came up watching the rock and stuff but once I hit 4 or 5 she had me super deep into it and she passed away when I was 4 or 5 and from then I had to keep doing it.”

As a follow up Eric also asked about the earlier days of his training and how it went in which he said.

“I was Really broke and so I was legit like whatever is cheap and whatever I can find around the ropes and and learn to bumps so I can get some type of cushion to start training before going to WWA And it was pretty much free and a lot of the guys were untrained backyard wrestlers and for me that was good enough back then and that was before OVW and all that.”

After some stories about what he’s done in little and big arenas the next topic is his current situation in MLW and his experience with Injustice and what they mean to him.

“When they put us together((Injustice)) it was just perfect and destiny and we were like let’s get together and get better at this in ring stuff and For me it was like I wanted to work on promos so we all had that thing where we learned from each other and we all were working to one up each other but learning from each other at the same time but it’s a competition at the end of the day and I don’t know what’s going to happen but it’s all love and everything is going good from all the matches we’ve had together as well as Mexico and AAA and it was awesome and for me in MLW I’m trying to get as good as I can and build the name man so your boy got some leverage so I can do what I gotta do.”

After speaking more on it Eric then asked him if there’s anyone he would like to face off in the future specifically on the NJPW Roster.

“I want to wrestle all the top talent but at the top of the list are people like Will((Ospreay)) and lets be real I feel like that match is…I need that match because that’s the guy to test yourself with to see how good you are like he’s the guy I was watching him and Ricochet they were blowing it up when I was watching and guys like that who were smaller it was our time and it was blowing up for us because before then they didn’t care and they were doing there thing and trying to be like them and that match is something I definitely need.”

Too Wrap it up Eric asked him what his future will be like in MLW and what’s next for him when it comes to championships.

“That’s a good question bro because I’ve went back and forth because when you lose your belt the first reaction is to try and get it back seeing how it was a four way and if it’s anyone then why not a legend because I’m always trying to level up because I want the spotlight and the bigger matches because I want the world title.”
