MJF will first be in action as he competes in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match against Konosuke Takeshita. This bout follows an all-night backstage battle between MJF and Takeshita, carrying on their ongoing side feud from recent weeks. Then Renee Paquette revealed that Tony Khan had scheduled an elimination bout between the two for the upcoming episode of dynamite. Takeshita will receive a future AEW World title shot if he triumphs.
In addition, The Acclaimed will face the Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn) to defend their AEW World Tag Team Championships. After months of back and forth between the two sides, this battle finally occurs.
Additionally, Bryan Danielson will carry on his journey to AEW Revolution by taking on Rush in a singles match. Rush was given a briefcase full of cash by MJF, and more money was promised if Rush could pull Danielson’s arm off.
Next week’s Dynamite will include a gauntlet bout starring Ricky Starks. He will compete in a “Garcia/Guevara gauntlet” match against Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, and either Sammy Guevara or Daniel Garcia. Starks will face Chris Jericho again if he defeats all three opponents.
Jamie Hayter will also compete in an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match against The Bunny. This week, The Bunny challenged Hayter in a backstage promo, and Hayter accepted the bout right away.
Last but not least, Top Flight & AR Fox will face off against The Elite to defend their AEW World Trios Championships.
