MJF recently tweeted a very cold blooded response to AEW’s president Tony Khan before quickly deleting it.
MJF is undeniably one of AEW’s greatest heels at the moment. His feud with CM Punk was nothing less than amazing. He quickly became one of the top guys in the company. He is mostly known for his great mic work.
Sean Sapp recently tweeted about Tony Khan’s opinion on the whole MJF contract thing with the issue during the Double or Nothing Conference. Khan claimed some rivalries work better when they go from off-screen to on-screen. MJF showed his discontent on Twitter.
He said:
“F*cking lol.
F*ck this place man”
Not long after, Maxwell deleted the Tweet, never to be seen again. Who knows what motivated him to act this way. He was obviously showing his anger with AEW in general.
Many rumours have recently claimed that MJF could be heading to WWE. Not right now, but once his contract expires. He obviously is an amazing asset to any promotion with his great mic skills. There have also been rumours of possible matches with The Miz or even Roman Reigns. There have been many offers to have MJF in WWE but things seem to go slow for the moment.
This incident might be another sign of his anger towards the promotion. He was also reportedly unsatisfied with his salary as he believes he deserves more. The situation is developing.
MJF is set to face Wardlow at the upcoming Double or Nothing event. This will mark another chapter in the history between the two men. They have now been in a rivalry for a while. If Wardlow wins the match, he will be granted his release from his contract with MJF. If MJF wins, Wardlow will be banned from signing with All Elite Wrestling.
