As seen during the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, MJF & Sammy Guevara will face Darby Allin & ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry next week to decide MJF’s opponent at Double or Nothing.
With MJF’s previous announcement of the ‘Four Pillars Tournament’, the fans found out that the winner of this tournament would earn the right of challenging the AEW World Champion for his crown at the main event of AEW Double or Nothing.
However, after ‘The Spanish God’ Sammy Guevara defeated Darby Allin by DQ and punched his ticket to face MJF at the PPV, AEW President Tony Khan revealed that the match for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing will finally be decided on next week’s edition of Dynamite.
About this, AEW Commentator Tony Schiavone revealed that the AEW GM informed him that MJF will be teaming up with Sammy Guevara to take on the team of Darby Allin and ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry. However, it was also announced that if Darby and Jungle Boy win they will be added to the Championship Match at Double or Nothing to make it a ‘Four Pillars 4-Way Match’.
Even though these are some very unusual teams, we could say that all four men will give it their all to earn the right of challenging for the World Title and main-eventing one of AEW’s most important events of the year.
There is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the AEW World Title picture right now, but we can definitely say that the promotion has some very interesting weeks ahead.
