All Elite Wrestling star Maxwell Jacob Friedman- better known in the world of pro wrestling as MJF-has appeared on a recent edition of the Barstool Wrasslin’ podcast, where he spoke with host Brandon Walker about a variety of things.

During the interview, MJF was once consulted about if he still talks to former AEW Executive Vice President- and current WWE Superstar-Cody Rhodes. MJF answered that they both talk sometimes, and recalled that ‘The American Nightmare’ has texted his parents recently to offer them tickets for a SmackDown show in Long Island.

“We still talk sometimes to this day. Cody Rhodes is a sweetheart. He texted my parents and offered them tickets for the Long Island show for SmackDown. They couldn’t go. They were busy, but I mean, it was very sweet of him to do. Have you seen his baby? What a cute baby.” (H/T WrestlingNews.co)

Maxwell Jacob Friedman is considered one of best, if not the top heel in pro wrestling world today. He is also one of The Four Pillars of All Elite Wrestling thanks to his amazing in-ring skills and outstanding mic performances, that made him take part in some of the company’s top rivalries- against people the caliber of Cody Rhodes himself, Darby Allin, Chris Jericho and the rest of The Inner Circle (alongside his partners of The Pinnacle) and most recently CM Punk.

He is currently feuding his former bodyguard, ‘Mr. Mayhem’ Wardlow, ever since he costed him the win at his Dog-Collar Match with CM Punk at last March’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event.
