As seen during tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, MJF’s Double or Nothing opponent will be determined in a ‘Four Pillars Tournament’.
With the event right around the corner, one of the main attractions for this year’s AEW Double or Nothing is undoubtedly the feud between AEW World Champion MJF, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara and ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry, who are most commonly known as ‘The Four Pillars of AEW’.
Even though the match was initially rumored to be a Fatal 4-Way match between ‘The Four Pillars’, the entire landscape could change on these next few weeks thanks to a recent announcement from the reigning AEW World Champion.
As seen during tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, MJF announced his opponent for Double or Nothing will be decided in a ‘Four Pillars Tournament’. Additionally, we also witnessed how Darby Allin got a first-round bye, which led to a huge showdown between ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry and ‘The Spanish God’ Sammy Guevara in the main event of the evening.
The idea is that the winner of this match will advance to the finals and move on to face Darby on next week’s edition of Dynamite, with the right of challenging MJF for the AEW World Championship in the main event of Double or Nothing hanging in the balance.
It is yet to be seen how the storyline will continue, but there is no doubt that we can all expect to see some interesting things from this ‘Four Pillars Tournament’.
