Former TJPW & Ice Ribbon superstars have joined the dominant unit of Stardom, Donna del Mondo
When the strange Momo Mask first appeared at Kawasaki Super Wars, no one in Stardom seemed to know what was going on. The unknown masked figure reappeared throughout time until being joined by a second at Osaka Super Wars. At Stardom’s Year-End Climax, the world would learn that the injured Giulia was behind it all, claiming that the Cosmic Angels’ newest recruits were weak, and she’d show them what strong recruits look like at the start of the year.
Mirai Maiumi, formerly of TJPW, and Thekla, who is from Ice Ribbon, were confirmed to be joining Stardom and Donna del Mondo on the inaugural Stardom show of 2022. Along with the many other exits, Mirai left TJPW in early September, while Thekla left Ice Ribbon at the end of November. They would go on to win the show’s main event, with Thekla defeating Mai Sakurai. Mirai will only be known by her first name from now on, which is appropriate for Donna del Mondo. What the seven-person Donna del Mondo gang has in store for the future remains to be seen, but it appears to be more dominant.

As the year 2022 begins, Stardom has an utterly crazy lineup. Donna Del Mondo ALONE now has more high-end, top-tier wrestlers than most organizations’ entire rosters, thanks to the acquisitions of Mirai and Thekla.
