The wrestling icon, Mickie James, hints at a possible retirement soon.
The in-ring time for Mickie James would be coming to an end.
The last time we saw James in action was back in July in a match against Chelsea Green on an Impact episode.
During the episode the cameras caught talked to her, she said “you’re only as good as your last match.”
After that she went home, fans believed it was a storyline retirement.
The rumors of her retirement started when she responded to a tweet on August 8th.
She responded to a fan on Twitter about being Asuka’s tag team partner for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament.
After being asked she responded “No. I feel I’m done in wrestling.”
The rumors became more credible when her husband, Nick Aldis, took Twitter to say that Mickie had just dropped a bombshell.
He wrote
“MJ just casually dropping a bombshell then plugging our #WWERaw watch along…”
We are not yet sure of the future of Mickie James, but we are sure she is already an icon in the industry.
