Matt Hardy recently claimed that even though Bray Wyatt always had a strange relationship with the Boss, he was always like a son to him.
Matt Hardy has hads a wonderful career in WWE. He is mostly known for his numerous runs as tag team champions with his brother Jeff Hardy. However, he was also in a tag team with Bray Wyatt in 2018. The two men had a pretty decent run as RAW Tag Team Champions.
On his own podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt claimed:
“Bray has always had a very strange relationship with Vince, very strange,” He said, “I almost feel like Vince looked at him like a son in some ways. When he would do things he liked, he would love him and he would really give him everything that he could possibly give him, and bend over backward to try and accommodate him. But then when he did something he didn’t like, he became hated, like he was going to lock him away for good.
He also added “It was almost like a really strange and different duality that Vince shared with Bray. When he liked him or loved him, he was all about him, but when he disliked him, oh my god, it was really bad. He would punish him and insult him, it was so strange. It was almost like a parent. It would almost be like how Reby disciplines the kids.” (H/T Wrestling Inc)
This is very special considering Wyatt was released by WWE in July of 2021. Ever since his departure, there have been lots of rumours regarding a possible in ring return. Bray Wyatt is a very talented individual and still has a lot of good years left.
There have also been rumours of him possibly joining Control Your Narrative. This is a promotion made by his good friend Adam Scherr a.k.a. Braun Strowman. Strowman is a former member of Bray’s Wyatt Family faction and the two have become great friends since. This could be a possible future for this incredibly talented individual that is Bray Wyatt.
