Explicit Content Reportedly The Reason WWE Released Mandy Rose

As reported by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, the WWE has reportedly released former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose on December 14. Reports have said the company felt that she had acted outside the parameters of her contract. It’s been reported that the WWE felt it was put in a difficult position due to the content Mandy Rose had posted on her FanTime page.

This is a shocking end to the Rose’s record breaking 413- day title reign. On December 13 Mandy Rose lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez.

Mandy Rose and her time with WWE

Mandy Rose joined the WWE roster in 2015 as a competitor on the sixth season of WWE Tough Enough. Although she finished in second place she still recieved a contract and signed on with the company.

Rose first competed on NXT for the first few years before being moved to the main roster. She debuted on the main roster teaming with Paige and Sonya Deville as a member of “Absolution”.

Soon after Rose and Deville broke off on their own as the tag team “Fire and Desire”. The team had mediocre success and Rose was later moved into a storyline with Otis. Although memorable and enjoyed by fans, the story culminated when Rose won a Loser Leaves WWE Match at SummerSlam 2020.

In July of 2021 Mandy Rose returned to NXT and formed the trio “Toxic Attraction” with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. She then went on to win the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc by defeating Raquel Rodriguez. Then on September 4 she became the “Undisputed NXT Women’s Champion” at NXT Worlds Collide. The big win came after she defeated both NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport. Her title reign would go a record breaking 413 days, ending on December 13 after losing to Iron Survivor Challenge winner Roxanne Perez.
