Lance Archer has won his second IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.
He accomplished this championship victory in a brutal, Texas deathmatch against now former IWGP United States Champion, Jon Moxley at the second night of AEW Fyter Fest. Lance Archer beat Jon Moxley via Knockout, when he chokeslamed the former AEW World Champion into a barbed wire table.
After the match, Lance Archer came face to face with Bullet Club member Hikuleo as the two will face off in an IWGP United States Championship match next week at Fight For The Fallen in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hikuleo is the son of Wrestling legend Haku and is billed at 6’8 and 264 pounds.
Lance Archer previously lost the IWGP United States Championship to Jon Moxley in Tokyo on January the 4th 2020 in a Texas Deathmatch.
