Randy Orton has been out of action away since May of this year and former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is not sure when he will return.
Prior to his injury Randy Orton known as ‘The Viper’ has had one of the most incredible runs in the WWE history having already won multiple titles during his career including the WWE Championship, Intercontinental Championship and more recently the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. Prior to his injury Randy Orton had formed a successful Tag Team with Matt Riddle as RK-Bro and had been feuding with The Bloodline more specifically The Usos. This was the last time Randy was seen on WWE television.
Kofi Speaks On Randy Orton Returning
A former tag team champion himself and also like Randy Orton a former WWE Champion Kofi has also had a legendary career within the WWE as a singles superstar and along with his stable running buddies fellow New Day members Big E and Xavier Woods. Kofi recently had an interview and with The Survivor Series coming up The New Day Member was asked about what his dream team would be if he were to participate in a WarGames match up at The Survivor Series. Along with naming Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, he also named Orton.
Speaking on Ten Count with NBC Sports Boston The New Day member said of Orton:
“I don’t know if [Randy] Orton is coming back, but I’d put Randy on my team….You know, The Viper and the experience factor.”
There is currently no return date set for Randy Orton and this has led to concern whether the WWE veteran will ever return back to the ring due to the severity of his injury.
