This weekend, fans and pro wrestlers alike were met with the horrible news that Scott Hall is to be taken off life support once his family is in place.
The former WCW and WWE star had experienced three heart attacks following a hip replacement surgery he received last week. Since then, he was put on life support in hopes that he would recover. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
Kevin Nash, formerly known as Diesel and former partner/tag team partner of Hall revealed on his Instagram, “Scott’s on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support.”
Nash then went on to talk about Hall saying, “I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him in the present. I’ve been blessed to have a friend that took me at face value and I him.”
Nash went on to share more stories and memories he had of their time together in WCW and how he had changed his life. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Scott Hall was one of the most unforgettable and impressive wrestlers in his time because of how he influenced many aspects of modern day wrestling. His start in the WWE as Razor Ramon and his involvement in the start of the NWO, a group that would come to be remembered as one of the best and most memorable factions in pro wrestling, was one of many reasons why he is remembered today as one of the greatest of all time.
However, on this sad day, we are preparing ourselves to say goodbye to this once in a lifetime wrestler and the trailblazing career he left behind. Rest in peace to “The Bad Guy”, Scott Hall.
