As noted on a recent tweet from Japanese wrestling apparel company HAOMING, Kenny Omega is now in Japan following his recent AEW suspension.
It has been one week since the recent backstage brawl between CM Punk, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, which started when Punk slammed the already mentioned people, alongside ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Colt Cobana, during the AEW All Out Media Scrum.
The whole situation got to a huge breaking point when Omega and The Young Bucks threatened AEW President Tony Khan with leaving the company shortly after the heated confrontation.
In the end, with no official answers of what truly happened on the NOW Arena during that night, Tony Khan decided to suspend everyone involved on the fight and strip them from their respective titles. However, thanks to a recent tweet, Kenny Omega has been seen in Japan, perhaps giving a small hint of his status with the company.
HAOMING, an important Japanese wrestling apparel company, took to Twitter to post a video of the former AEW World Champion in their office, accompanied by the message “Kenny?!”.
Why Is Kenny Omega In Japan?
The main reason why Kenny Omega is in Japan right now is because of the Tokyo Game Show convention (most commonly abbreviated as T.G.S), which will take place on September 15th and will show more content of the brand-new ‘AEW Fight Forever’ video game.
This doesn’t come as a surprise for many fans since it was the original plan that Omega travelled to Japan as an AEW representative, even before the recent backstage brawl during All Out happened.
So, since the recent scandal hasn’t affected Kenny Omega’s previously announced AEW commitments, it is reasonable to think that his status with the company is not as bad as everyone expected.
