The wrestling world was shaken to its core last night when WWE announced the releases of 18 superstars, which includes the likes of Keith Lee, Karrion Kross among others. Following the news of his release, Keith Lee made it clear that the recent character repackaging was not his idea.
According to a contributor from Ringside News, Lee addressed a comment on his Instagram page. The original comment insinuated that the “Bearcat” gimmick was Lee’s idea.
Lee responded by saying “No. It was not. Lol”
It was common knowledge that the WWE Universe had been against the numerous changes Keith Lee went through since debuting on the main roster.
Now that Keith Lee has been released from WWE, one could wonder if AEW is in his hindsight.
