Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson could be on their way out of Impact as their contract extensions are almost up.
Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson have been with Impact wrestling for two years now, but reports have surfaced that they may be leaving. Having signed with the promotion in 2020, the duo has been quite successful, winning the tag titles twice.
During that time, they also made appearances in AEW, where they reunited with their former Bullet Club allies The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. Gallows & Anderson have also worked matches in NJPW, where Anderson won the Never Openweight championship, which he still holds.
They may be free to go elsewhere soon as their time in Impact was supposed to end in July before they signed one-month extensions. Gallows & Anderson are currently set to appear for the August 26 & 27th TV tapings.
After that, they are set for more New Japan appearances, but outside of that, they could go anywhere. They may re-sign with Impact, but they could also go back to AEW.
Gallows & Anderson could sign with another promotion and they can even go back to WWE if they choose.
Will Gallows & Anderson Return To WWE?
Triple H may want to re-sign Gallows & Anderson once they are available, but they may not want to return. When they were released in 2020, Anderson had harsh words for the company in the months following.
However, they were released by Vince McMahon, and they may have more freedom under Triple H. Vince never cared for his tag team division unless it involved main event stars.
Triple H has already made significant changes, and he may do so with the tag division as well. That being said, Gallows & Anderson could be better used than they were under Vince’s leadership.
It remains to be seen what they do, but until then, they have many options on the table.
