Ever since joining House of Black, Julia Hart has undoubtedly been one of the most interesting and promising talents in the entire AEW Women’s division, with a very high potential to become a future champion.
However, Julia Hart turned this potential into a reality when she defeated Kris Statlander and Skye Blue at AEW Full Gear 2023 to become the new TBS Champion in a match that was well rated in the Wrestling Republic scale.
WWE’s Tiffany Stratton and AEW/ROH’s Willow Nightingale were the runners up in this category, which Julia Hart ultimately won after a vote conducted by Wrestling Republic’s esteemed voting committee.
The Voting Committee’s Reasonings For The Choice
“From a humble beginning as a cheerleader to a darken force within the AEW Women’s Division, Julia Hart is a clear example of one word. Growth,” said Wrestling Republic’s Podcaster Soul. He continued by stating that “Julia evolved herself to become one of the most loved women wrestlers in AEW. From her first shot at the TBS championship to exiting 2023 as the TBS champion all at the age of 22. Julia shows that she has a lot to give, as The House Always Wins.”
Wrestling Republic’s Reviewer David Sheldon explained that the reasons of his vote were “Julia’s great improvement both in ring ability and card placement, and her consistenly captivating stage prescence.” He also pointed out that “her journey to the TBS Championship was steady and incredibly effective, and her ability to draw ratings became statistically evident. A very strong year for a very strong character.”
In addition, Wrestling Republic’s Daily Broadcast Host Clark Taylor stated that “the whole NXT women’s division deserves this vote, but I gotta give Julia Hart the ultimate credit, the definition of breaking out!”
