It seems like the WWE 2K22 roster is even bigger than some people thought.
Operation Sports released a video showing the roster in WWE 2K22 which includes quite a lot of wrestlers that have left the company or have been released from the company.
These wrestlers include names like Johnny Gargano, Braun Strowman and Mickie James.
Gargano left WWE after choosing not to sign a new contract with the company. Strowman was released from the company after being involved in a big match for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania Backlash against Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. James was released by WWE but has been involved with Impact Wrestling becoming their Impact Knockout Women’s Champion, she also appeared in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
There are even some wrestlers that are currently in AEW that have been confirmed for the game’s roster like Keith Lee and Kyle O’Reilly.
Lee recently debuted on AEW after he was also released by WWE. O’Reilly decided not to sign a new contract with WWE and join his Undisputed Era teammates Adam Cole and Bobby Fish in AEW.
Other names that are included in the WWE 2K22 roster are: Alexander Wolfe, The IIconics, Ember Moon, Fandango, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, Karrion Kross, Mia Yim, Buddy Murphy, Nia Jax, Ric Flair, Samoa Joe, Tegan Nox, Timothy Thatcher, Toni Storm, Tucker, Tyler Breeze and William Regal.
There are certainly a lot of names fans didn’t expect to be in the game’s roster. WWE 2K22 comes out 11 March and 8 March for players that get early access where fans will be able to play as their favourite wrestlers such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.
