John Cena makes his return to WWE on the September 1st edition of Friday night SmackDown in Hershey Pennsylvania.
John Cena returns to WWE opening the September 1st edition of Friday Night SmackDown. This is the first of eight weeks of Cena on SmackDown.
Cena opens SmackDown by saying “You have given me an opportunity for the first time in my two decade career to travel to India…to have my first match ever of my career there in India, and I thank you for that.”
Cena will compete at the WWE Superstar Spectacular, at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium.
The WWE Superstar Spectacular will take place on Friday September 8th. Cena then went on to announce he will be the host of WWE Payback on Saturday, September 2nd.
As Cena was talking Jimmy Uso would interrupt and make his entrance to the ring with his own theme song. Jimmy would go on to explain the reason he betrayed his brother at Summerslam again. He went on to say he didn’t want his brother to become like corrupt like John Cena.
Jimmy also compared Cena to Roman Reigns by stating, “the only difference between John Cena and Roman Reigns is that John Cena takes everything with a smile on his face.”
Cena then fired back by saying “The wrong Uso quit”. Jimmy didn’t take lightly to that comment and tried to hit Cena with a superkick. Instead Jimmy got hit with the attitude adjustment.
