Jey Uso defeats Solo Sikoa ahead of his WWE Undisputed Heavy Weight Championship match with Roman Reigns at Summer Slam.
On the August 4th edition of Friday Night SmackDown Paul Heyman came out to the ring to clear up details ahead of Roman Reigns and Jey Uso’ s Summer Slam match.
Jey Uso will be challenging Roman Reigns for his Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship in a Tribal Combat style match.
During a promotional video Skia, Afa, and Rikishi are all seen. Paul Heyman went on to talk about Jey Uso never becoming the Tribal Chief. Jey Uso came out to interrupt Heyman stating he put Reigns at the head of the table.
Jey goes on to explain he will always forgive Sikoa, as he is only doing what he is told. He understands because that’s what Reign’s and Heyman were doing to Jey when he was the Right Hand Man.
Then out of nowhere Jey hits Sikoa with a Thrust Kick, while Siko was staring down Heyman. Jey told Heyaman to tell Reigns he will see him at SummerSlam and he will see Sikoa later that night.
It was a fairly even match up, and kept fans on the edge of their seats wondering which brother would win. Jey Uso would win the match defeating Solo Sikoa. After the match Sikoa went on to slam Jey into the ring post. Sikoa tried to attack Jey with a chair, but Jey would give Sikoa a superkick.
He went on to unload on Sikoa with the steel chair. Jey would end the episode standing tall on the announce table.
The WWE Universe has been buzzing with excitement leading up to Summer Slam. Could this be the momentum Jey needed heading into Summer Slam?
