To Close out the July 7th edition of Friday Night SmackDown Jey Uso returned to challenge for Roman Reigns Championship title.
Earlier on the episode of Friday Night SmackDown Jimmy and Jey Uso held Tribal Court. Roman Reigns was on trial for manipulating the family He was defended by Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa.
During the trial segment, Reigns acknowledged that he had been pinned by Jey Uso but stated he is still the Tribal Chief. Reigns also said Jey would never be the Tribal Chief as long as he is alive.
To end the opening segment Solo Sikoa gave a frog splash to Jimmy Uso through the announcers table, while Jey was being buried under the announcer’s chairs. This caused Jimmy to be stretchered out and sent to the hospital.
Later that night Jey Uso would return from being at the hospital with Jimmy to Madison Square Garden. Jey would return to beat Reigns with a chair and run him out of the ring.
Jey would grab a microphone and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship title that Reigns left in the ring. He stated he “is the judge, juror, and the executioner”. He also went on to say this would be a trial by fire.
Jey then issued a challenge to Roman Reigns for the title and demanded that Reigns accept the challenge. The WWE universe has been buzzing since the issued challenge. Now fans have to wait and see when and if Reigns will accept the challenge.
