Impact Wrestling is a promotion that has gone through various phases, from its days as “Total Nonstop Action!” to its current state it has remained a top destination for talent looking for an opportunity to shine.
The promotion has struggled throughout its recent years with many talents going to other places such as NXT and AEW, this was until recently when signees decided to make Impact their home going forward.
I want to take a moment to explain why Impact Wrestling is not a “zombie promotion” many seem to call it as it has much to offer to the entire wrestling industry.
The Future of Wrestling

There is something special about the current roster of Impact as much of the talent is young with years ahead of them.
Talent like Chris Bey, Willie Mack, and Deonna Purrazzo are opening doors for talent looking to get themselves known in an industry where it is hard to do so.
The impact Zone has created many stars throughout the years including talent such as Aj Styles and Samoa Joe just to name a few, demonstrating that it is not new for Impact Wrestling to make young talent the future of the industry. It is a matter of time before talent like Josh Alexander main event for major PPVs in the near future.
Young talent is what keeps Impact Wrestling on the radar of an industry that grows as time passes, with the formation of other promotions it must be a priority for Impact to continue and invest in the future.
Divisions Are Treated Equally

Impact Wrestling takes time with each of its divisions, this is crucial for them as it sets them apart from other promotions. The mid-card scene alone is amazing with each match outshining the main event most of the time.
The Knockout and X divisions have proved that mid-card matches matter as the company believes in its talent and what it can achieve, this has helped the women have equal screen time as the male talent which is something other companies often struggle with.
The tag-team division is also home to some of the most creative talent with each match having something that keeps people wanting more.
Kenny Omega as the Impact champion has also given other talent the chance to evolve as each challenger ups the stakes. Whoever beats Kenny will become a star and it will probably be somebody who is currently in the mid-card scene.
Final Thoughts
In the next five to ten years the wrestling world will see the rise of talent that will make arenas sell out, this comes from promotions that give opportunities for character development and Impact is the right place for it.
The Impact Zone is not a zombie promotion that is not willing to die, it is a place that can bring life to an entire industry.
