The hype around TNA is unreal right now, and I’m here for it. TNA is a land full of champions, so it will be interesting to see who loses each belt to whom. Well, that’s what this article is about. This is a rough, tactical prediction as to who will be the wrestler to dethrone each current champion in TNA. I’ll try to only use people on the roster page, but I might throw a swerve in there. While I’d like to believe that I’ll be pretty accurate with my guesses, Scott D’Amore does like to throw the occasional curveball at his audience, so really, time will tell.
TNA Tag Team Championships: Jet Setters
I’ve taken a bit of a risk not choosing GYV, but I just don’t think that they’ll be the ones to do it. Obviously, this all depends on whether they’ve signed, which wasn’t confirmed at the time of writing.
That being said, KUSHIDA is signed, and Kevin Knight has shown up on many different occasions. They are an amazing tag team, and they would definitely be worthy of dethroning the ABC. The ABC feels like they’ve taken on everyone as champions, so having a new opponent in the Jet Setters beat them may be the best play. The ABC have faced 90% of the tag division in their combined 230 days as champions, so a change may be overdue.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships: Dani Luna And Xia Brookside
Firstly, it’s clear that TNA has confidence in pushing Xia Brookside, as she just got a big win against Tasha Steelz.
Secondly, TNA should have the utmost confidence in Luna after her great display in the Knockouts Ultimate X match at Hard To Kill.
Combine these two reasons with the lack of knockouts’s tag teams at the moment, and then it’s a great choice. While it may be a bit biased (as I am British myself), a Brookside and Luna upset over DeCay would be a great moment.
TNA Digital Media Championship: Bhupinder Gujjar
The former Impact Wrestling “One to Watch” award winner really hasn’t amounted to anything since. This makes me sad, as I think that there should be more Indian wrestlers with higher status within the business. Gujjar obviously has some ways to go, but the potential is there. I would love to see him beat Crazzy Steve; it would be a great moment for him, and it would hopefully catapult his career.
Also, if you want to see Bhupinder’s best match in TNA so far, I recommend his ladder match against Brian Myers, which was surprisingly a banger.
X-Division Championship: Jake Something
While I was initially pondering choosing an AAA talent due to the partnership, I’ve gone with Something instead. This is because it’s clear that TNA has an intent on pushing him. As of writing this, Something is coming off a win over Dirty Dango’s faction at Hard To Kill and an X-Division scramble win on the first iMPACT episode of the new era. Considering that match has Mike Bailey and Vikingo in it, it’s clear that there is an intent on pushing Jake and that he’s here to stay.
Knockouts Championship: Gisele Shaw
Love her or hate her, she’s been the workhorse of the knockout’s division over the past year, so it’s only right she gets her win. She has been lingering around the title for far too long now, and with her winning the Ultimate X, it’s clearly her time. Also, it was teased that she’d leave the Shaw-ntourage on iMPACT, so we could fully see Gisele Shaw’s potential run as champion with her as a face. This is all just speculation however, but I am positive that she’ll win the belt.

TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth
I mean, he was the major signing; it would be pointless if he wasn’t in line to win the belt. Nonetheless, there treating him like a big deal, and it’s working. Nemeth’s promo on iMPACT has over 600k views on YouTube, which are amazing figures for TNA. They will see this, realize how big of a deal Nemeth is for them, and give him the world title that he rightfully deserves. Plus, Nemeth’s whole story in TNA seems to revolve around him wanting to work up to the world title, so it would be somewhat pointless if he just didn’t and completely flopped. Although, knowing D’Amore, he could just throw in a curveball and completely flip the script. So we’ll just have to wait and see…
