Chad Gable has been a constant presence in the WWE since he made the move from NXT to the main roster in 2016. He signed with the WWE in 2013 after competing in the London 2012 Olympic games. Throughout his career he has mostly been part of tag teams such as the American Alphas and Alpha Academy. He is much more than a tag team wrestler and deserves a push.

As previously stated, Gable is a former Olympian ,he is an incredible athlete and competitor. This translates in him being an exceptional in ring performer with a great blend of speed, strength, agility, and athletic ability. He can play a good babyface and heel. Gable has won the tag titles with both the American Alphas and Alpha Academy. This suggests that WWE are comfortable having Gable as a title holder. His style and background are similar to the likes of Shelton Benjamin and Kurt Angle. Which is promising for Gable because these wrestlers have had success in WWE. Especially Angle who like Gable is a former Olympian. WWE has a lot of history when it comes to pushing athletes who have a competitive wrestling background. Examples of this include Brock Lenser and Bobby Lashley who are both former WWE champions.
Gable should of been pushed already

He was unfortunate not to get a big push in 2017. This was when his American Alpha tag partner Jason Jordan got a huge push when he was involved in the Kurt Angle son storyline. It would have made more sense to have pushed Gable rather than Jordan. This is because looking at Angle’s and Gable’s career, they are very similar. The two of them are both former Olympians and they have a similar in ring. Which means that it would have been more believable that Gable was Angle’s son rather than Jordan.
When should he be pushed?
Yet, it doesn’t look like WWE has any intention to push him any time soon. The reason for this is that Gable is currently in American Alphas. However, there are tensions between the team due to the introduction of Maxxine Dupri. This could potentially lead to a feud between Otis and Gable. It is safe to say that Gable has the ability to become a solid mid card talent, and challenge for titles such as the intercontinental championship.
