A recent report from PWInsider has revealed that HBO’s Real Sports has reached out to former female employees to prepare a new story of Vince McMahon’s investigation.
It has been a month since the beginning of the scandal surrounding Vince McMahon due to recent allegations of covering up an affair in 2019 and the payment of 12 million in hush to other four women.
All this scandal generated a lot of buzz that pushed seven law-firms, The Wall Street Journal and even WWE to start some serious investigations on the former WWE Chairman, which also led to the resurface of some controversial comments that former Divas Champion AJ Lee made in the past.
It was also reported around a week ago that Netflix had decided to pull off a documentary about the Chairman. However, a new report from PWInsider has now informed that HBO’s Real Sports with Bryan Gumbel has been preparing a new investigation on the allegations against Vince McMahon, even getting to the point of reaching out to some of the company’s former female employees.
PWInsider also states that some of The Wall Street Journal’s reporters have confirmed that they are investigating a new story, which is based on some talks with former female WWE Superstars and is expected to drop in the following weeks.
It is undeniable that after all the stories that came up during the past weeks, and the ones still to come, there will be very turbulent times ahead for WWE in the near future.
