First, a four-way match will see the AEW World Tag Team Titles contested. Along with two other teams that will be decided in the upcoming weeks. During a backstage segment, the acclaimed inserted themselves to make it a 4-way match via their rematch clause This will be Gunns’ first defense of the AEW World Tag Team Titles. On the Dynamite episode airing on February 22, one of those teams will be chosen through a conventional battle royale fight. Additionally, to choose the final team, a separate Casino Battle Royale will be conducted on the Dynamite episode airing on February 29.
A Texas Deathmatch between Jon Moxley and “Hangman” Adam Page will also take place. On Wednesday’s Dynamite, after Hangman Page had beaten Kip Sabian, Jon Moxley appeared and declared that Hangman was invincible. The dispute between them wouldn’t be resolved, according to Hangman Page, until Revolution. When The Dark Order appeared, Evil Uno confronted Moxley and assured him that The Dark Order was on Hangman’s side. Mox agreed to face Hangman in a Texas Death Match on March 5 in San Francisco after the two exchanged a stern look in the ring.
In a TNT Championship bout, Samoa Joe and Wardlow will also square off once more. Since Samoa Joe’s victory over Wardlow for the TNT Championship in December and the subsequent haircut, the two have been at odds. On the February 1 Dynamite episode, Wardlow made his way back to AEW to face Samoa Joe after the latter had won the TNT Championship back from Darby Allin in a No Holds Barred match. This will be the second face-off between Joe and Wardlow.
