Kazeem Famuyide who is a former WWE writer recently appeared on The Masked Man Show and noted that Sash Banks contract with the WWE is set expire within the next two months.
Sasha Banks and Naomi are the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, but both walked out on the 16th of May episode of RAW with creative problems being reported as the main issue. Banks was reportedly not happy with the direction of Women’s Tag division with Naomi reportedly echoing Sasha’s view.
Kazeem Famuyide said that both Sasha and Naomi were in negotiations about a renewal before their walk out. He noted that not only is Sasha’s contract about to expire but Naomi is set to expire within the next two months.
Whilst WWE have released a statement about the Sasha and Naomi there have been no statements made from either Sasha or Naomi and reports are they are not scheduled to show up on tonight’s edition of SmackDown.
It is not known whether WWE will carry on with renewal talks or if they will let both Sasha and Naomi’s contracts expire, if so, there is sure to be plenty of offers for the former Women’s Champions as they will be an asset to any wrestling promotion if they do decide to leave the WWE. WWE can freeze their deals if they want but at this moment in time nothing has been discussed with both the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
