Santos Escobar and Kevin Owens are one step closer to becoming the number one contender for Logan Paul’s WWE United States Championship.
On the December 22nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown The semifinals for the WWE United States championship was held. The match was Bobby Lashley versus Santos Escobar.
Lashley was very dominate from the ring of the bell. Lashley shows off his incredible stregth by easily throwing Escobar accross the ring.
Towards the end of the match both Escobar and Lashely were on the top rop firing some hard hits. In the end Lashley levels Escobar with a flatliner.
A masked figure then appears at ringside in attempts to grab the attention of Bobby Lashley, but the person would be dragged away by security.
A second masked individual makes there way out to ringside and gets Bobby Lashely’s attention. The masked individuals took out Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.
Escobar takes advantage of the distraction and rolls Lashley up for the pinfall victory. The masked individuals reveal themselves, it is Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza.
Santos Escobar latter released a tweet stating “L.W.O. Legado. World. Order.”
Santos Escobar will face Kevin Owen in the final match to determine the number one contender for Logan Paul’s WWE United States Championship.
Kevin Owens defeated Carmelo Hayes earlier on the December 22nd edition of Friday Nght SmackDown. The final match will take place on the Jaunary 5th, 2024 Friday Night SmackDown:New Year’s Revolution.
The winner of the match will be the number one contender and will face Logan Paul at the WWE Royal Rumble on January 27th at the Tropicana Field in Tampa Florida.
Will Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza interfere in the next match to help Santos Escobar become the new number-one contender?
