For the first time ever, the Face of the Revolution Ladder Fight will take place on AEW Dynamite.
The Face of the Revolution Ladder Match will be featured on the March 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, as it was revealed during the February 24 episode of AEW Rampage. The victor will be given the opportunity to challenge Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship. The competitors for the fight include Konosuke Takeshita, Ortiz, Komander, Action Andretti, Sammy Guevara, Powerhouse Hobbs, Eddie Kingston, and AR Fox. Komander, who has recently fought for promotions including GCW, AAA, and PWG, will make his AEW debut in the match.
In a backstage segment Big Bill and Lee Moriarty, along with The Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn), attacked the Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) on AEW Rampage. Orange Cassidy will defend his AEW All-Atlantic Championship against the firm’s Big Bill. HOOK will face Matt Hardy for the FTW Championship in a different title battle. In a backstage segment, it initially appeared that Stokely Hathaway would select Ethan Page as the opponent for Hook, “All Ego” disclosed that Hardy would be Hook’s opponent.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho, who hasn’t competed on AEW programming since the November 14 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, will meet Toni Storm in another match on the program. She lost to Jamie Hayter in her final AEW TV appearance on the episode of AEW Dynamite aired on October 26.
The 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite featured Chris Jericho’s Judas Effect on “Pretty” Peter Avalon, a member of the Wingmen, and the fans will hear from MJF and Bryan Danielson prior to their iron man title match at AEW Revolution.
