Will Ospreay recently was interviewed by Wrestling Republic’s Eric Novak on the All Real Wrestling Podcast where he discussed a number of subjects. At one point, the subject of AEW and Tony Khan was brought up, and the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion had nothing but love for the company. He gave specific praise to the president, calling him a lovely man as well as describing his having loved a match he had with Pac.
“CM Punk called me out, and I know he is Tony Khan’s best man, and I’ve only had one conversation with him (Tony). He’s a lovely man, and he’s a very nice man. It was after my match with Pac, and he came up to me and said it was 5 Stars and so nothing but respect for the man. I like what he’s doing for professional wrestling. I love it. I am a fan of it, man. I Know Punk is his best man and if he’s looking for the best fight, then fight me. I am the commonwealth Kingpin. If you want the big money match, then call me. As for Sammy (Guevara), I like Sammy, and I love talking to him. But put us in a ring together, and it will be different stories. It’s different now. I’m a grown-ass man. The last thing he wants is this elbow in the back of his head because I’m in the battering business, the slapping business, and the taking Gold Business.”
Among other things in his talk with Eric, Ospreay also discussed Ninja Warrior, AJ Styles, owning a wrestling business at 14, and many other topics.
