During a recent edition of Wrestling Republic’s Soul Sessions, Italian wrestler Renzo Rose has opened up on why he decided to leave Italy for Dublin in 2022.

‘The Italian Rose’ Renzo Rose is currently one of the most important names in the entire Italian pro wrestling scene. With only six years of in-ring experience, Renzo Rose has already amazed many pro wrestling fans in Europe with the incredible high-flying offense he demonstrates in every single match he competes in.

After becoming one of the biggest rising stars in Italy, Renzo Rose left his home country and traveled to Dublin, Ireland with the goal of taking his career to new heights.

While speaking with Soul on the latest edition of ‘The Soul Sessions’, ‘The Italian Rose’ Renzo Rose opened up on the reasons why he decided to leave Italy for Dublin during the last year. When reflecting on this, Renzo said:

“A friend of mine, Iljia, that I met in Italy, he trained in Birmingham. And he met over there Omari, the current OTT Champion, and they were talking about other places to move, other places to train. And Omari told him you should try Dublin, because there’s two good schools, there’s OTT that is a very big promotion and also they connect easily. You can go easily to every city of the UK.”

“And he told me try Dublin, and I was like ‘maybe not, I don’t know’ (laughs) This doesn’t seem like a place that many people go when they want to pursue their wrestling dreams. But I was thinking about it like what can I do? Canada, the UK, USA, Japan, Mexico they all need a Visa. So the only place that doesn’t need a Visa, it’s Dublin.”

Renzo Rose On The Advantage Of Having Dublin As His Base

In addition to what he stated before, Renzo Rose moved on to explain how living in Dublin allows him to connect very easily with many important zones of the pro wrestling world.

“I can fly easily to the USA, Canada and the UK so I use it as a base. And thankfully here the economy is very good, you can easily find a job and live normally. I decided to move here with my girlfriend one year ago and yeah, it worked out perfectly.”
