During a recent appearance at Wrestling Republic’s Soul Sessions, Billie Starkz revealed how she balances school with her pro wrestling career and the supportive role of her parents in it.
Billie Starkz is definitely someone who has been succeeding in making everyone in the pro wrestling world know her name. Showing a great display of talent in every single one of her matches, Billie has quickly become one of the most promising rising stars in the entire industry.
Being only 18 years old, Billie Starkz has already managed to wrestle for many important promotions in the US (such as GCW & AEW) and Japan (she challenged reigning TJPW Princess of Princess Champion Yuka Sakazaki at ALL RISE ‘22).
While speaking to Soul on the most recent edition of Wrestling Republic’s Soul Sessions, Billie Starkz explained how she always wanted to pursue her pro wrestling dreams and the importance of her parents’ support. When reflecting on this, Billie said:
“For me it was always like a hundred percent, this is what I want to do. And people say I’m very stubborn-minded and I think that’s probably why it’s never changed. Even for my parents, they were super supportive with everything I wanted to do, my mom took me to my first wrestling training and my dad showed up and like watched it all. So they both really really encouraged me since the beginning.
And my rule that I’ve made with my mom is that if she paid for a wrestling school I would go to college so, now I have to hold up my end of the deal (laughs).”
