During a recent appearance at Wrestling Republic’s Soul Sessions, Billie Starkz revealed how she feels with her current time on GCW and addressed on the possibilities of facing GCW World Champion Nick Gage in the near future.
Billie Starkz is currently one of the biggest rising stars within the entire women’s pro wrestling world. Being only 18 years old, Billie has already proven to everyone that she has a huge potential of becoming a top star in the years to come.
During the last year, Billie Starkz also made a few appearances at some AEW Dark shows –wrestling former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker in one of these appearances- and became a regular competitor in GCW.
While speaking to Soul on the latest edition of Wrestling Republic’s Soul Sessions, Billie revealed how she was first introduced to GCW and commented on her sensations of being a regular competitor for the company. When referring to this, she said:
“So my first introduction was during the pandemic in like 2020, that was the first time I ever went to a show. Of course I’ve seen stuff before that, and I watched a lot of my friends on it before then.
But my first live shows were during the pandemic, and my first time ever working at GCW was in Indianapolis, outside just doing the pre show. And I loved it, it was a great time and I really enjoyed the crowd. And then I suddenly got more and more and more, so now I can say that I’m like a GCW regular (laughs)”
Billie Starkz & The Possibilities Of Challenging Nick Gage For The GCW World Title
In addition to what she stated before, Billie addressed on the possibilities of challenging for the GCW World Championship in the near future, currently held by Nick Gage. About this, Billie said:
“It definitely is on my radar now but it’s definitely very very hard to go against anybody of Nick’s (Gage) standard, like Nick is so good and he’s been doing it for so long. I feel like there is so much I can learn from being in a match with him, but at the same time that man is terrifying.
He’s such a good babyface and his promos are amazing. And the way he just is a suit to anger… I feel like he’s very good about showing ‘I am the toughest person in that ring and nobody’s going to overcome me in that aspect.’”
