It looks like the suspensions to CM Punk and The Elite will last at least until November based of current AEW Full Gear advertising
AEW have seemingly stopped advertising CM Punk and The Elite for the upcoming AEW Full Gear PPV taking place on November 19th in Newark, NJ.
CM Punk’s reasoning for being absent from the poster is more obvious, with Punk currently suffering from a shoulder injury that he sustained during his match with Jon Moxley, that is expected to leave him out of action for at least 8 months.
The Elite however are only suspended, as an independent investigation is reportedly undergoing to find out what happened after the All Out PPV between CM Punk, Ace Steel and The Elite. This could indicate that The Elite are expected to be away from the company for some time, although this isn’t confirmed by AEW or reported by any wrestling journalists.

If one compares the original poster for Full Gear and the newly developed poster, you can see that CM Punk has been replaced by current interim AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm and The Elite have been replaced by MJF, who made his big return at the All Out PPV.
MJF, whilst under the masked persona of “the Joker” won the casino ladder match during All Out, meaning he is due an AEW World Championship match at some point in the future. Who that World Champion will be is hard to predict, with the championship currently vacant and four of AEW’s top wrestlers in Jon Moxley, Sammy Guevara, Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho in the semi final places in the tournament to decide a new champion.
Danielson had a very good showing against former AEW World Champion Adam Page by showing great experience and technique. Danielson also seemingly has most of the crowd support behind him as Adam Page was faintly booed during the match. However, a dark horse could be Sammy Guevara, whom has already shown his worth against top competitors like Cody Rhodes, whom he defeated to become TNT Champion at the start of the year.
