Photo Credit- AEW, WrestlingInc., Mandatory, Council of Zoom One of the most intriguing storylines of All Elite Wrestling has been the rise, fall, and growth of Adam “Hangman” Page. Adam’s story has been taking place even before the inception of AEW but it seems as if it will soon come into a full circle. But this development does not mean that Hangman should become champion yet, that is why I will take a moment to explain why this is such as there are various layers story-wise. The Highest And The Lowest It is no secret that the story between Hangman…

Photo Credit- AEW Wrestling is most effective and memorable when elements of real life blur the lines of reality and fiction. Stories such as the love triangle of Matt Hardy, Edge, and Lita in 2005 and the Summer of Punk in 2011 benefited greatly from the audience’s knowledge of behind the scenes tension. Such an effect is doubled down upon when the real life issue being broadcasted is one that the viewers can relate to or see within their own society. Kofimania was a storyline that highlighted systemic racism during a time period where the Black Lives Matter movement was…
Photo Credit – WWE Appearing on Hot 97 radio with Peter Rosenberg, Universal Champion Roman Reigns had some choice words to say when presented with the idea of a future Shield reunion. “I have respect for everything we did now. A lot of that time was pivotal for me to learn and gain experience.” “But where I am at now it’s a one-man show. I have the family dynamic with my cousins but at the same time, I call the shots. It’s my thumb that’s down on this pole. So yeah, I don’t think I can share it anymore.” (H/T…
GREAT: The final edition of AEW Dynamite to take place inside of Daily’s place during the Pandemic era opened with the Young Bucks taking on the team of Eddie Kingston and Pentagon Jr in a tag team title eliminator match. The layout of the match followed several recent Young Bucks tag matches, with a lot of interruptions, biased refereeing, and a lot of fun spots and kick outs. At this point a crowd going crazy for Eddie Kingston shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, but wow was he over during this match. Kingston and Penta getting the surprise win…
Image Credit- AEW Britt Bakers tag team partner Rebel has reportedly suffered an injury after her match last night on AEW Dynamite. Rebel teamed with AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker to face the team of Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero. Britt Baker and Rebel won after Britt Baker made Vickie Guerrero submit with the Lockjaw. However, at one point during the contest, Rebel broke up a pin by Nyla Rose on Britt Baker but unfortunately injured her leg whilst sliding in. Afterwards you could see Rebel during the match getting evaluated by AEW’s ringside medics. After the match Rebel was…
Photo Credit- WWE CM Punk is without doubt one of the biggest stars of 21st century wrestling. His legendary charisma, innovative ring work and unique appeal won him legions of fans around the world. However, his acrimonious relationship with the powers that be in Connecticut led him to retire from wrestling in 2014. Since then, Punk’s fanbase, who have arguably formed a “cult of personality” of their very own have clamoured for his return. Every Royal Rumble, tease for a “returning legend,” or surprise debut leads to vocal sections of our community daring to dream that this time might finally…

Photo Credit- WWE, WrestlingInc., CagesideSeats When growing up I remember my first wrestling video game being “Smackdown vs. Raw 2008”. I would spend countless hours creating dream matches as well as relieve classic moments, it was an amazing experience overall. Fast forward to 2021 and there is nothing that creates those same memories I had as a kid, the only games on the market are the retro-style wrestling game Retromania by Retrosoft studios and the WWE2K games. I will be explaining two major things that would make wrestling games amazing since it is time for the world to have a…
Photo Credit – All Elite Wrestling This weeks episode of AEW Dynamite was a Saturday night special featuring the highly anticipated bout between the AEW Champion Kenny Omega and fan favourite Jungle Boy. AEW attempted to stack the card from top to bottom in hopes that they could boost the recent disappointing television ratings. GOOD: Saturday Night Dynamite kicked off with Alex Marvez interviewing Sammy Guevara as he is walking into the arena. Shawn Spears then took out Sammy with a chair from behind, ahead of Sammy’s match against MJF next week. GREAT: The in ring action for the night…
Credit Photos: WWE On August 30, 1994, the wrestling world and its fans would change forever. Owner and founder of ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) then known as Eastern Championship Wrestling, Tod Gordon, along with head booker, Paul Heyman, would orchestrate the most controversial act of defiance in history. ECW at the time was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), a promotion that had dwindled in relevancy since Ted Turner had purchased the Jim Crocket Promotions and eventually separated from the NWA and created World Championship Wrestling (WCW) into his own brand. Gordon and Heyman felt at the time, that…
