AEW finally had their blood and guts match last night on live dynamite May 6th 2021 and in my opinion was better than any NXT WarGames match. NXT had their first WarGames match on November 18th 2017 and every year since it has become a yearly tradition for the brand and I think they have changed people expectations of the WarGames match for the worst. AEW President Tony Khan has announced on Sirus FM’s Busted Open Radio that AEW’s next PPV, Double Or Nothing, will host a full capacity crowd in Daily’s Place. This will be not only the first AEW show with a full capacity since the pandemic hit, but it will also be the first show by a major wrestling promotion in the United States to do so.
