This was a decent episode of NXT. The two title matches were the highlights of the night. Both reigning champs retained as Bron Breakker defeated Von Wagner and Mandy Rose defeated Alba Fyre. the lowlight of the night was the match between Indi Hartwell and Tatum Paxley. The action was ok and didn't have much of a story to it. Shawn Michaels announced a new match type, the Iron Survivor challenge, which will take place at NXT Deadline. The format of the match adds some intrigue and should be fun to watch. The participants will be announced in the coming weeks. Additionally, NXT UK star Isla Dawn made her debut in NXT. In conclusion some highs, some lows, and a few things to look forward to.

Will Rose continue her dominant reign or will Fyre finally win the gold? And we hear a big announcement from Shawn Michaels. What does the Heartbreak Kid have in store?
GOOD Bron Breakker vs Von Wagner for the NXT Championship:
Starting the show off hot, Breakker controlled the match early on with speed and power. Coming out of the picture-in-picture break, Wagner choke slammed Breakker onto the steel steps. In the finish, Breakker landed a spear to retain the title.

Stark said she carried Nikkita Lyons and was not as irresponsible as Lyons. Then, Stark trashed the fans for supporting Lyons even though Stark earned a spot in NXT for her in-ring talent. Zoey Stark ended the promo by saying she is the face of NXT.

SQUASH – Indus Sheer battered a couple of jobbers in an easy victory. The pair called out the Creed Brothers after the match.

GOOD JD McDonagh vs Apollo Crews:
Crews turned the momentum around with a back-body drop. Later, Apollo Crews nearly on after a couple of power bombs. In the finish, Crews slammed McDonagh to pick up the win.

GOOD Wes Lee and Carmello Hayes signed the contract for a North American Championship match:
Hayes said that Lee at his best doesn’t compare to Hayes at his worst. Lee responded that he did whatever it took to become champion and would do the same to retain. The two almost came to blows, but Booker T stepped in to prevent violence.

Early in the match, a distraction by Ava Raine allowed Jagger Reid to land a suicide dive on Brooks Jensen. Later, Briggs dominated both members of the Dyad. in the end, a distraction from Kiana James allowed the Dyad to pick up the win.

After getting pushed around early, Rose bodyslammed Fyre onto a chair. Later, Fyre superkicked Rose and hit her finisher on the ring apron. In the end, Isla Dawn misted Alba Fyre and pushed Fyre off a ladder, putting her through the table.
