The franchise of Wrestling games has been loved by fans ever since its debut. Although, the most recent editions, WWE 2K20, had a lot of issues which initiated a downfall for the series. The developers decided to take one more year to produce the next game to make sure it was the best ever. This meant that there would be no WWE 2K21 and they would wait until WWE 2K22.
Now another issue the developers have come across is the fact that the WWE keeps on releasing stars which means the roster for the game keeps on getting smaller. Many people are wondering what will happen and which stars will be on the roster.
According to a recent Forbes report, a source close to one of the writers claimed that many wrestlers who were released this year will still be part of the game even if they are no longer with the company.
Apparently, if a wrestler was still with the WWE when they signed the contract with 2K, they can still be included in the roster unless they have a relationship issue with the WWE. But most wrestlers that left the company on good terms can be expected in the game. So wrestlers like Bray Wyatt, Adam Cole, Keith Lee, Ruby Riott and Jeff Hardy.
Whether the next wrestling game is good or bad is crucial for 2K as this could be their last instalment. We simply hope the roster will live up to the expectations.
