Bayley has signed IYO SKY up for a triple threat match with her title on the line. Sky is not happy to defend the title at WWE Fastlane.
On the September 29th edition of Friday Night SmackDown Charlotte Flair was set to face Bayley. Before the match started Flair told Bayley She was nothing more than a stepping stone.
Charlotte then states she will be facing IYO SKY at WWE Fastlane. Bayley calls out Charlotte for cutting the line for a chance at the WWE Women’s Championship.
Bayley starts the match strong and gains a lot of momentum for the match. Flair would quickly take control and shows the WWE how dominate of a wrestler she is.
Charlotte Flair wins the match, but was surrounded by all three members of Damage CTRL outside of the ring. This would have left Charlotte outnumbered three to one. Asuka would come out to the ring to help Charlotte with the numbers game.
On the September 22nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown Asuka would lose a title match against IYO SKY.
Asuka spoke in Japanese so no one could understand what she was saying. Bayley “translated” saying that Asuka wants a triple threat match at Fastlane for the WWE Women’s Championship.
SKY is not happy being after hearing she has to compete in a triple threat match. Will this effect the Damage CTRL’s relationship?
Later that night WWE made it official. There will be a triple threat match between Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and IYO SKY. The WWE Women’s Championship will be on the line at WWE Fastlane on Saturday October 7th.
