Jerome Young, known to wrestling fans as ‘New Jack’, has passed away this afternoon at the age of 58. In a statement to PWInsider this afternoon, Jennifer Young, the wife of New Jack, revealed that he had passed away of a heart attack earlier today. New Jack was commonly recognised throughout the professional wrestling industry as one of the most controversial figures to step into the squared circle, as he was often criticised for taking it too far and going too extreme. However this built New Jack an extremely loyal following and made anything he was involved with must see.…

Chris Jericho reportedly suffered a dislocated elbow during the AEW Blood & Guts match last week. Renowned professional wrestling journalist, Dave Meltzer, has noted in this week Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Chris Jericho suffered a dislocated shoulder during the fall he took off the cage at Blood & Guts. Meltzer noted that the AEW star would be out for 4-6 weeks, however presumed that he would still be involved in the Stadium Stampede match set for Double Or Nothing. Melzter stated “I presume he’s working Stadium Stampede based on the television angle but otherwise he’s out four to six weeks.”…

Dave Meltzer, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, has reported that All Elite Wrestling have been in talks to sign the recently released WWE Star, Andrade. Andrade was released from Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Entertainment in March, and unlike many other released talent, his contact did not include the typical 90 day no compete clause meaning that he was free to work with other promotions from the day he was released. Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Pro Wrestling is reporting that WWE are planning on having fans returning between July 16th -19th. Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that the finish for Orange Cassidy vs PAC last night was changed mid match due to Orange Cassidy going down hurt after taking a sunset flip powerbomb. After the injury occurred the current AEW Champion Kenny Omega came down to the ring and took out PAC while the referee was distracted leading to both men being down for the 10 count meaning AEW declared the match as a No Contest. Following the hugely controversial ‘Blood & Guts’ Dynamite special last week, AEW looked to continue the momentum and keep it up as they moved towards their upcoming Pay-Per-View ‘Double Or Nothing’ on May 30th. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that NXT star Velveteen Dream was backstage at Raw last night. Dream has not been seen on WWE television since he was defeated by Adam Cole on an episode of NXT back in December of 2020. All Elite Wrestling have made the announcement that they will be heading back on the road to resume Live touring this July, after hosting their shows at Daily’s Place for over a year. The first show back will take place from the James L. Knight Center in Miami on July 7th, with shows then taking place from H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas and Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, in the weeks following.
