There was a lot of chatter when Santana & Ortiz broke up. Many saw it as the sad self-destruction of an incredible tag team, and with good reason. We had no reason to believe that any of them would succeed in a singles capacity. Besides their final match between themselves, we never really were given a reason to believe they could cut it as singles guys. Now it’s almost a year later, and the view of one half of the former duo has changed completely. Mike Santana decided to cross the line and bet on himself, and I honestly couldn’t…

In the last five years, the man the WWE has proclaimed to be the GOAT really hasn’t been himself. While John Cena is undoubtedly one of the best to ever do it, this article will be looking at one of the worst eras of his career. It’s an interesting run to cover. These past five years have hosted some great (and not so great) matches from him. The question is now: which one was the best? So without further ado, here is my ranking of every match from Big Match John since 2019. 9. WrestleMania 39: Saturday: John Cena vs.…
The NWA is a promotion that is commonly used as the butt of a joke in today’s landscape. And with good reason. A promotion that decides to have Tyrus as there champion for over a year deserves to be made fun of. However, there is a slight thing about it that somewhat grinds my gears. Sure, the promotion is prone to making a lot of mistakes, but we shouldn’t ignore the great talent left that the company possesses. Obviously, it’s not nearly as good as the 2019 roster, which featured stars such as LA Knight and Nick Aldis, but there’s…
Lucha Libre. A wrestling style originating in Mexico that has been used by some of the best workers the business has ever seen. Names such as Blue Demon, El Santo, Psychosis, and Rey Mysterio have enriched Lucha Libre with great history, but with Mysterio’s career in it’s final stages, it’s time to look towards the future. I mention Rey Mysterio specifically, as he has been a main representative for Lucha Libre for the past twenty-or-so years. So it begs the question: Who are the five men that I think will steer the ship for Lucha Libre in the future? That’s…
In 2024, at the age of 46, it’s hard to believe that AJ’s current character is much better than years previous, but you’d be wrong. Instead, Styles is proving why he’s still got enough talent left to remain one of the top talents on SmackDown. While he has slowed down (understandably so after one of the greatest careers of all time), he’s not letting that get in the way of still providing us with entertaining moments upon his return. While from 2021–2023, AJ really wasn’t at his best (albeit still phenomenal), his current character feels like a breath of fresh…
With the Elimination Chamber passing by, Liv Morgan’s road to WrestleMania now seems quite unclear. This article today highlights why I think Jade Cargill should be the opponent she faces at the Showcase of the Immortals. There are many names that Cargill could face in her big singles debut, but Liv is one that has really stood out as the best contender for me. This article will detail how mutually beneficial this match could be. So without further ado, here are my reasons. Liv Morgan’s Current WrestleMania Prospects After losing this match, a match that quite a few thought she…
Why? Anthem, you hair-brained idiots, why? This is single-handedly the easiest and most efficient way to take any hype away from the rebuild you have going on. Scott D’Amore (with the assistance of Callis) saved Impact from near-death and brought back the feeling to TNA after all these years. You’re getting some of your highest PPV buys in years and the highest ticket sales in eight years, yet you still sack him? Let’s just dive into how stupid of a decision this is. Saving TNA From The Depths Of Hell Let’s list what D’Amore was coming into when he first…
It’s undeniable that Carlito is an entertaining wrestler. His return at Backlash? Spectacular. That being said, after his recent in-ring performances, I do think there should be a slight change to how the WWE is booking him. This article explains how I think he should be transitioning more into an MVP-esc role and how it could potentially elevate some other members of the roster. Recent Carlito Matches From his two singles matches so far in the WWE, it’s clear that he’s slowed down, and that’s completely okay. The man is a 24-year veteran; it’s bound to happen. During his matches…
The hype around TNA is unreal right now, and I’m here for it. TNA is a land full of champions, so it will be interesting to see who loses each belt to whom. Well, that’s what this article is about. This is a rough, tactical prediction as to who will be the wrestler to dethrone each current champion in TNA. I’ll try to only use people on the roster page, but I might throw a swerve in there. While I’d like to believe that I’ll be pretty accurate with my guesses, Scott D’Amore does like to throw the occasional curveball…
It may be hard to believe, but we are now approaching the seventh Women’s Royal Rumble. It’s a match that I have honestly really enjoyed a solid percentage of the time. I have made this article because I think it’s a travesty that they aren’t recognised for how fun they are. Even the worst women’s rumble matches have some great returns sprinkled throughout, which will at least get a kick out of you. Former Winners I’ll start this off by listing the former winners of the match so far and giving my take on whether it was the right decision.…
