Following the CyberFight Festival on June 6th, where Pro Wrestling NOAH, Tokyo Joshi Pro, Ganbare Pro, and DDT Pro-Wrestling presented a joint event under the CyberAgent brand, it was revealed that DDT’s Wrestle Peter Pan show will take place at Kawasaki Stadium on August 21st. The capacity of the facility is now 2,700 persons.
There were a few more announcements about Wrestle Peter Pan, including the inclusion of Atsushi Onita in the performance. On July 4th, the 60-year-old Onita will formally debut his FMW-E promotion, which will involve explosive deathmatches. An explosive barbed wire deathmatch will be held at Wrestle Peter Pan, with two rings being placed in the stadium for the event.
However, it was determined that the current explosive death match would be the 0th match and would be contested in the middle ring. Therefore, they won’t be selling the current blast sheet, which was supposed to be sold.
As a result, Atsushi Onita responded with the following remark.
“It takes time to set up the current blast deathmatch, so it’s a dedicated ring? Then it’s okay to play the 0th game! Atsushi Onita is the 0th game!” (H/T DDT Pro)
Wrestle Peter Pan will also feature Jun Akiyama, the current KO-D Openweight Champion, who will defend his title against an opponent who has yet to be revealed.
