    Anthony’s Best of the Best.

It is now time for my November 2022 best matches of the month list. Please keep in mind these are just my opinion of the best matches I saw this month and is not a definitive list and is not the official Wrestling Republic ratings and rankings.

I’m sure there are matches that I may have missed but there are only so many hours in a day and only so much wrestling I can watch. So, please feel free to suggest matches in the comments, as it is possible, I haven’t seen them or maybe they just didn’t make my cut. If I haven’t seen it and I’m able to check it out, it may make my end of year top 25 matches list. If it just didn’t make my cut, if I have time and I’m able to I’ll re-watch the match and re-consider it for my end of the year top 25 matches list.

The top 25 list at the end of the year will be in order and will be made up of my Match of the Month winners, which are guaranteed a spot and the remaining 13 slots will be other top matches from my monthly lists.

Here is the listing in no particular order:

MATCH OF THE MONTH: Bloodline vs Brawling Brutes, McIntyre & Owens – WWE Survivor Series: War Games

This was a very tough call for me between this match and Josh Alexander vs Kazarian from Impact: Over Drive. The Alexander/Kazarian was without a doubt one of the best most underrated matches of the year, but what put the War Games match over the top is the storytelling. The Sami Zayn/Bloodline storyline is the story of the year in the business and is easily the most compelling story that any promotion is telling. On top of that the War Games match absolutely delivered and was complete gang warfare, which is exactly what this match was always designed to be.
