It is now time for June 2026 best matches of the month list. Please keep in mind these are just my opinion of the best matches I saw this month and is not a definitive list and is not the official Wrestling Republic ratings and rankings.
I’m sure there are matches that I may have missed but there are only so many hours in a day and only so much wrestling I can watch. So, please feel free to suggest matches in the comments, as it is possible, I haven’t seen them or maybe they just didn’t make my cut. If I haven’t seen it and I’m able to check it out, it may make my end of year top 25 matches list. If it just didn’t make my cut, if I have time and I’m able to I’ll re-watch the match and re-consider it for my end of the year top 25 matches list.
The top 25 list at the end of the year will be in order.

MATCH OF THE MONTH: Mercedes Mone vs Maya World – AEW Forbidden Door
This match was an absolute masterpiece and my only complaint is the wrong person won the match. Maya World wasn’t even scheduled to be in this tournament, but when someone was forced to pull out, she was offered the spot despite going through a personal tragedy. She not only entered the tournament; she made it to the finals to the shock of many including defeating ROH’s forever champion. Both these women gave everything they could in this finals match adding to the importance of winning the Owen. Mone did everything in her power to make Maya look like a million bucks in this match and Maya elevated her game to a point she won’t be a sub in a tournament she’ll be one of the first called. Her personal story is something that was mentioned in this tournament but she had the momentum and should have won the whole tournament but also went on to win it all at All In. AEW should have pivoted as Mone didn’t need the win and would have done more to elevate Maya who stepped up in such an unbelievable way.
