It is now time for July 2026 best matches of the month list. Please keep in mind these are just my opinion of the best matches I saw this month and is not a definitive list and is not the official Wrestling Republic ratings and rankings.
I’m sure there are matches that I may have missed but there are only so many hours in a day and only so much wrestling I can watch. So, please feel free to suggest matches in the comments, as it is possible, I haven’t seen them or maybe they just didn’t make my cut. If I haven’t seen it and I’m able to check it out, it may make my end of year top 25 matches list. If it just didn’t make my cut, if I have time and I’m able to I’ll re-watch the match and re-consider it for my end of the year top 25 matches list.
The top 25 list at the end of the year will be in order.

MATCH OF THE MONTH: Nic Nemeth vs KC Navarro – TNA Impact
I know this is an unexpected choice, but I feel this is a match that flew under the radar during a stacked month. Nic Nemeth a veteran that has done pretty much it all in this business put on an absolute classic in that ring with the up-and-coming KC Navarro. This match is the definition of looking like a bigger star even in defeat. They built this up so well that Nemeth viewed KC as beneath him and that he had no heart to challenge for his championship. KC showed fire on the mic and absolutely brought it in the ring. I wouldn’t be surprised if that little engine that could underdog ends up being the one to dethrone the wanted man for the TNA World Championship perhaps in October at Bound for Glory.

Fascinating. I’m only finishing off the April matches so far, but the choice for this month intrigues me. I’ve never been a Nemeth fan and the TNA stuff has left me a bit cold so far for the most part (just call me Grayson Waller!) , so I’m interested to see if this will change my opinions (I’m open to it!)
It was the promo work the week before setting the match up and the match itself that to me was better than anything else. Fletcher vs Bandido was great but the storytelling setting it up wasn’t there.
