It is now time for April 2025 best matches of the month list. Please keep in mind these are just my opinion of the best matches I saw this month and is not a definitive list and is not the official Wrestling Republic ratings and rankings.
I’m sure there are matches that I may have missed but there are only so many hours in a day and only so much wrestling I can watch. So, please feel free to suggest matches in the comments, as it is possible, I haven’t seen them or maybe they just didn’t make my cut. If I haven’t seen it and I’m able to check it out, it may make my end of year top 25 matches list. If it just didn’t make my cut, if I have time and I’m able to I’ll re-watch the match and re-consider it for my end of the year top 25 matches list.
The top 25 list at the end of the year will be in order and will be made up of my Match of the Month winners, which are guaranteed a spot, and the remaining 13 slots will be other top matches from my monthly lists.

MATCH OF THE MONTH: CM Punk vs Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns – WWE WrestleMania 41: Saturday
This was a stacked month as every WrestleMania April always is but at the end of the day this one stands above all the rest. Why? The storytelling and history going into this match was compelling to me. The intertwining history and the “real” life dislike Seth and Roman are perceived to have towards Punk and the competitive rivalry that Seth and Roman have with each other as well and add the brilliant Paul Heyman in the middle of it. It was Punk’s first WM main event ever and WWE gave him the grand video package and entrance, but ten years after Seth pulled off the heist of the century at WM 31 stealing the WWE Championship from out of Roman’s grasp turning a one on one match with Brock into a triple threat, he once again stole something from his opponents the wise man Paul Heyman. These men delivered an absolute classic in not only athleticism but storytelling that was cinema level.
