There have been many occurrences of main roster WWE wrestlers losing part of their names in recent years. For example, Andrade Cien Almas was changed to just Andrade and Buddy Murphy was changed to Murphy.
In a new development WWE Smackdown wrestlers Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo have also undergone name decapitations.
According to the WWE website, Angel Garza will now just go by the name of “Angel” and Humberto Carrillo will be called “Humberto”.
