Despite multiple rumours and reports from various promoters, it seems as though the wrestling world has not yet seen the last of the monster duo formerly known as The Authors of Pain.
All members of the group have taken to social media to strike down the claims that they’ve retired from pro wrestling all together since being released.
The former NXT and RAW tag team champions were released from the WWE as of September of last year, and have since been completely out of the news, way past their 90 day no compete clause.
Reports claim that other major companies had to pass on the group for different reasons. It is a possibility that New Japn did nit want to spend on them, while AEW simply passed. The indie scene also does not look to be on the groups radar, even though they’d potentially flourish there.
Unofficially reunited or perhaps just linked to Paul Ellering, there is yet to be any info as to their plans. If one was to speculate, they could be regrouping.
Rezar recently recovered from bicep surgery, and seems to be using his MMA past to get back into ring shape. It is yet to be seen what their next chapter will intail.
